About Depression
A constant sense of hopelessness and despair is a sign you may have major depression, also known as clinical depression. It may be difficult to work, study, sleep, eat, and enjoy friends and activities. Common symptoms include: Fatigue or loss of energy almost every day. Feelings of worthlessness or guilt almost every day. Impaired concentration, indecisiveness. Insomnia or hypersomnia (excessive sleeping) almost every day.
Common Symptoms of Depression
- Persistent sadness
- Loss of interest in activities you once enjoys
- Withdrawing from friends and family
- Fatigue
- A sense of hopelessness
- Changes in eating habits
- Intense feelings of guilt
- Difficulty getting out of bed each morning
In order to qualify for this study, you must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 65
- Be currently experiencing symptoms of depression
Study Participants Will Receive:
- All study-related medical care and study medication at no cost
- Possible compensation for their time and travel
