Clinical Research Coordinator in New York, New York

FCR is an expanding clinical research center in mid town Manhattan that conducts psychiatric and neurological clinical trials. We are seeking a high energy, DETAIL ORIENTED, ORGANIZED CRC who has experience in CNS. The CRC executes and coordinates daily clinical research activities according to our SOPs, GCP and FDA/ICH guidelines. Other responsibilities include: updating guidelines and making sure other staff members are trained and current. Ensure IRB protocols are implemented and followed; spear-head patient recruitment, obtain informed consents and monitor patient status and safety; complete and ensure the quality of case report forms (including eCRFs); respond to queries and all sponsor communication in a timely manner, ensure site quality, schedule and conduct study specific training to staff on new or amended protocols; educate patients and their families about treatments and possible side effects; conduct study visits, maintaining and dispensing study product and supplies, prepare for monitor visits, and fill out site-feasibility questionnaires. Must be able to perform clinical tasks (ie. phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, etc.) and generate weekly/monthly progress reports.

Requirements:
Must have experience as Clinical Research Coordinator within the last 4 years. Knowledge and experience with psychiatric rating scales preferred. Minimum 4 years experience in clinical research including work in CNS. CCRC certification preferred. Must have leadership skills and be able to work independently in a small but expanding work environment. Must be highly organized and have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail a must. Must also be comfortable with computers, IVRS, electronic data entry systems etc. We are looking for a long-term commitment.
